Quartzy- Lab Management Made Easier

Quartzy: Research Quickly! is a free website, www.quartzy.com, that allows laboratories to share information. The site makes it easy for lab members to place the laboratories reagent/product inventory into Quartzy’s excel template. Once in the template, members can find reagent stock information, such as who has the product and where it is located in the lab. There are also links for ordering and the ability to view product ratings and reviews. Additionally, the website allows members to share protocols. Users can be designated as lab mates or colleagues, allowing different levels of access to the laboratories information.
Quartzy seems to be very easy to use and is starting to get more recognition. Organize your lab- Check it out.

I am Adam Regelmann the co-founder of Quartzy. Thanks for the write-up. I think that you have summarized Quartzy very well!
I also wanted to mention that we have a Facilities module where members can schedule slots on shared resources. Scientists are sharing more than a thousand facilities across the country with their colleagues so this feature has become a source for ‘resource discovery,’ sort of like ‘Oh, I did not know that the lab 2 floors down had a confocal. May be they will let me use it!’
